Flooropedics. Probably a little more expensive than other places, but they do an incredible job, show up when they say they are going to, and do what it takes to finish when they promise.

I have never used Flooropedics for hardwood wood floors, but they were awesome for our ceramic so I would assume that they also do hardwood well. However, I would also check City & Suburban and Ritchie. All three do original installation of hardwood, but Ritchie and City & Suburban do both. All three are excellent.

Brian Kelly in Lombard. 627-8199. Did a great job refinishing the floors of Chateau Ruydah. Not sure if you are putting in new ones or refinishing existing, but he does both. Very reasonable. Stop by, you can see for yourself.

Brian Kelly and City & Suburban Sanding are the same. We have used them in three houses. We have always been happy, but it is refinishing, not installation.
