We discovered our furnace was broken at 4:30 this afternoon. Since I have never been happy with past contractors, I went to the G.E. Chamber page and called T.M. Mechanical from Glen Ellyn. Tony the owner was at our house within 45 minutes and quickly diagnosed the problem. He found a place open late in Melrose Park that had my part in stock. Tony was back in a couple hours with the part and quickly installed it. A few reasons why T.M. Mechanical will be our HVAC Contractor forever:

1. He was polite
2. He did exactly what he promised he would do (and quickly).
3. His prices are very reasonable.
4. When he was done, he sat us down and explained exactly what he did and what he didn’t do.
5. He is actually from Glen Ellyn, not just a “local number” in the phone book.
