I was planning a small get together that has somehow blossomed into 50+ people. Any suggestions on caterers? Has anyone used True Cuisine?

How casual or fancy?

“In a letter to "Dear Abby" a reader complained that a gay couple was moving in across the street and wanted to know what he could do to improve the quality of the neighborhood.

Her suggestion - 'You could move.'”

Usually I'd make a suggestion, but since I'm apparently not in your top 50, I won't. It goes without saying, however, that your soiree will be better off without me or my suggestions.

I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog.

And I've heard good things about True Cuisine.

Run...don't walk...to Diane Mackowski at Spoonful Epicurean Delight.

A Glen Ellyn resident...which will appeal to Gotrocks. Wink

Used her services and been to parties where her food was present several times. Outstanding.

This is a family gathering. So, most of the people are not in my top 50. It started as immediate family but then people started to invite themselves. Count is now at 73. I figure it's better to pay someone to caterer then cook for that size group. If it was warm enough to be outside I'd grill.

I appreciate the suggestions and will start calling tomorrow.

As for being Vicky, I can not remember ever posting in the political threads.

I hired True Cuisine recently, but didn't have the chance to compare their price with other local caterers. That said, their service and quality were beyond what we expected.

A friend hired the owner of Suzette's in Wheaton for a holiday party she threw--the food was very good. She offered bar tending services as well.
