Anybody have a good/inexpensive tree guy.. Need a large tree either cut down or large limbs removed....before they drop on somebody's head! Thanks.

Yes. Al's Tree Service. I forget his number . . . lemme find it. He's an arborist, but he's also a dirt cheap trimmer.

guess I should mention they will need a cherry picker...This is no small project, and it does not help that it is hanging directly over my neighbors new garage!!!

Do you need some sort of "Permit" for this now? I remember there was a thread about it a while ago.

If you need a permit, just wait until if falls on your house, call your insurer and let them worry about it. At least you will save the permit fee!!! Big Grin

The village does have a list of registered tree services at their website. You don't need a permit (yet).

Thanks Clam!! I think I called about 6 or 7 company's for estimates...2 came out so far-Al's was one of them. Actually, while looking at my job a neighbor stopped him and he is trimming her tree now I think!!

OMG-wish I had the same experience as you folks!! "reliable" and "good price" do not seem to be the case!!!! Looks like I must go with ABBOTT...Thanks for the input!
