I should probably have named this the DUH thread because that is what I said after I read the instructions on my new iron. (Yes I do know how to iron, but this one has some new features and I wanted to know what they are.) Much to my surprise I found instructions for safe ironing: Never iron or steam clothes while they are being worn. That is right up there with the stroller that said: Remove the child before folding. I am so happy that the consumer products information group is instructing me on these.
