How do I treat for grubs in my lawn. Or better yet, know of any company that could treat? Have significant browning in patches and now animals are coming to tear it up.

It's grubs eating grass roots from underneath. (If the grass is ripped up, it's because skunks, etc., are digging down for the grubs). Eco-friendly “ Nematodess” have worked wonderfully well for us several times over the years (in four different homes/yards.) Grub-Away Nematodes

Bayer has a product that will kill grubs quickly. Spread it and water it in this weekend, as grubs will start to burrow deeper for the winter soon. The nematodes are recommended as an effective preventative measure, not a curative method to control active grub infestations. It is too late in the season to use Grub-Ex. Bayer Advanced 24-Hour Grub Killer Plus Sod webworms are another common insect larvae that will cause brown patches. The Bayer product will kill them, too. Good luck and don't be surprised if next year the skunks and other critters come and dig in the same spots even if there are no signs of grubs. They seem to have an excellent memory for remembering where food was found in the past.
