I am not ignoring you. Just can't come up with anyone. I would not recommend the people that did my kitchen. Will not even mention their name.
OK...it was Kitchen By Design in Lombard...on Roosevelt. Across from a bowling alley. I know, I know...should have been a hint.

Howdy, Howdy. I am currently having a major kitchen project done and really like and trust my contractor: John Barich at 630-307-9711 (based in Bloomingdale). I doubt he's the cheapest guy around, but I do believe you get what you pay for.
I spoke to him last night about your request, and he does do small jobs, too i.e., rip out and install cabinets, in between his larger projects. He can give you an estimate. Just let him know you heard about him from this BB, from the kitchen he's doing in Glen Ellyn. Good luck!
ETA: He can also help with cabinet layout if you're reconfiguring at all.

Now there, Mr. Guthrie is ACTUALLY helpful! Clam, NO HELP.
I am a dyslexic agnostic insomniac. I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog.
