I'll tell you who NOT to use, Greckowski builders. The most incompetent 2 people I have ever met in my life.

If you're doing a kitchen, I can wholeheartedly NOT recommend Kitchen By Design in Lombard.

If you are doing a home in general, Legacy Design & Construction...I think that's the name...the guy that owns it...his name is Mike Pudlik (commence snickering like a 9 year-old. I did.).

Two friends have used him for major additions and both were greatly satisfied.

Tell me that is not his REAL last name. And you think you had a tough childhood.

For something like this, or almost any home service really, I would highly recommend a subscription to Angie's List. They have very detailed reviews, often including photos, and you'll have no trouble finding someone who can meet your needs. We've had it for a few years now and never had a bad experience. The $40 or $50 is well worth it.
