My children have CF and see Dr. Lucille Lester at the Univ of Chicago Hospital (she also has hours once a month at a satellite location in Palos Heights.) My husband worked with Dr. Naveed Akhtar at Hope Children's Hospital (Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn). He found him to be quirky but brilliant. An excellent doctor. Also, friends of ours almost lost their little boy a few years ago because of a rare genetic condition and Dr. Akhtar was the one who figured it out. Here is a link to his information.
