My Kitchenaid dishwasher started to make a very loud buzzing noise this morning. The cycle ran fine (dishes clean and dry), but there is clearly something very wrong. Can anyone recommend someplace reasonably priced and local to repair it?

It came with the house, so I have no idea where it was purchased.

I think Young's service is the best.

Youngs has a guy they will refer who has fixed our Kitchenaid twice (different issue each time). Highly recommend.

Young's won't repair the appliance unless you bought it from them (at least that's what they told me last year). We've used L N S and I was very pleased 630-307-0555

How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year,
Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

These make next to zero noise and use pretty much no water. Buy one...stimulate the economy.

The downside is that that people at our house are always opening it mid-cycle. It is that quiet and we bought ours at Young's. They price-matched Abt. Smile

Hmmm . . . a bit pricey for me.

As a compromise, I promise to not try to fix it myself and will try stimulating the economy by keeping local service people in business instead.
