No news to report! She didn't have her collar on and she doesn't have a chip. We just keep hoping that someone has her and hasn't reported it yet. Thank you for all of your good thoughts, I will keep you posted.

Have you called your neighborhood school and asked them to make an announcement? Several years ago a lost dog was found by doing that.

I know all of the schools were notified. The owner has sent out e-mails and put signs up near her home and where Tally was last seen. We have all driven around, the owner has walked through Spring Ave Dog Run, Pan Fish Park and the Bog. It seems she has vanished. We are still hopeful that someone has her and is treating her well. Thanks again for caring and please keep looking!

Our neighbor had an ancient Golden Retriever that disappeared one day. Didn't see it for close to two months. Then someone called and said that they had found her. Cops speculated that she had been living down by Perry's pond. Can't figure out how she wasn't attacked by something. Had a ball of leaves, etc. in her stomach that needed to be cut out, IIRC. Lived for another year or so.

Ok, here it is. She was wandering in a yard across the street from her house. No collar on. The nanny didn't know who she was and was worried about her due to the cold weather. She wouldn't bring her into the house because there were little kids there so she put her in her car. Later, Tally would not come out so the nanny brought her home with her in Schaumburg. She was afraid to call the police because she thought she would be put to sleep. Yesterday she happened to put up signs with pictures in the neighborhood, the owner called and they were reunited. She is a very nice women who took very good care of her. Happy ending!

Hold on....she took the dog home for three weeks before putting signs up? She never mentioned to the family that she was nannying for the she picked up a dog and stuck it into the car? There is more to this story. But I'm glad: 1. that Tally cannot talk and 2. that Tally is home.
