I have been going to Danada Vet since Dr. Helen Dane left Lombard Veterinary on St. Charles Road YEARS ago. Her practice is FABULOUS. Dr. Burley & Dr. Wallach are caring & knowledgeable vets. I have also visited Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital & have had really positive experiences there as well. FYI - years ago when GEAH expanded the facility a wall did collapse. One of the First Responders rescued a puppy & I remember he named the puppy "Rubble".

Wait....a fireman rescued a puppy and renamed it Rubble? Is that true? Did he steal it??? If not, were the owners mad at the name change? There is more to this story than meets the eye. Fill me in.

Ah Ha! I was right!
How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

No, the Fireman did NOT steal a puppy! GEAH operates an adoption shelter out of their facility. Several of Glen Ellyn's finest canine residents have been adopted from there. The puppy Rubble in question was one of those...
