We walked by Saturday morning after enjoying the pancake breakfast from Troop 41, no sign of the manwagon or the pup.

So, is this all an elaborate hoax?
Maybe Nessie might have been a good choice of name!

My second hour into watching her...I send the littleneck Clam out to have her pee in the BY, and she comes back lame. I had no contact with her for all of you thinking this is the same old pattern of mysteriously injured limbs and extremities. Son says she tripped coming up the stairs. She seems unhappy about the injury. I hope this thing came with a warranty.

It was the jockey's fault. Just like Lio's injury was likely Clamato's.

Wait, let me get this straight - the little baby is hurt? That's just like my dog, injured limbs and limps. However, I believe mine is faking it and she's 12 years old. ...Maybe slipped on wet grass or pulled a leg out somehow instead of the stairs.

Labs are like that. We had one that took a bad fall on hardwood once and never voluntarily walked on hardwood again. My parents (suckers) bought little runner rugs so the dog could get from room to room.
I agree with Mama. There is probably nothing wrong - genetically or breeding wise. It probably had a good slip up on the stairs and will freak for a while on them or even wood This will pass. and yes - I have put the thow rug bridge all over my house too. My dog seemed to take a nose dive (literally) when we finished our floors and put in total hardwood everywhere. She just cannot get traction and her limp(s) kicked into high gear this past 1 1/2 years. However since introducing my mom's poodle into the household, I think she's trying compete with the healthier dog and is doing wonders. Plus I'm feeding here Glucusemine and Omega 3 in addition to Asprin. That may be the reason too.

She was fine after an hour. Still taking the stairs like a champ. How the hell do you make pictures bigger on Imageshack?

What an adorable dog. She looks so sweet and innocent.

Has anyone actually seen if this dog exists? As far as we know, Clam is just pulling pictures off of a google image search in an effort to bring even more attention to himself. The public demands proof that this dog actually lives. Pictures of the dog in front of a GE landmark with copy of the latest Chicago Tribune should suffice.

Saw it three times. It asked to be adopted each time. With the new baby coming, I had to respectfully decline.

when you first enter the website, you have to decide what you need it for: You need to check the resize box - the first two are the smallest, then the third one is -small, fourth getting to be regular size - then the others will be big according to you your monitor size. You probably want the 3 or 4th one - e-mail/websites or the one for message boards. Turn thumnail mode off. you can always play with the editing here until the size looks right. I do not know how to edit on the actual image shack site. I think what you get is what you get once you upload. Then after the picture is uploaded cut and paste the forum link or after looking at your directory of all pictures, hover over the 'i' (share it) button and cut and paste the 'direct' link one. That seems a better size. Plus on the 'share it' button, you can toggle between the thumbnail or bigger, whereas in the finished upload area, you have to uncheck the thumnail box and a lot people forget that. See how big mine is?

Thanks, Lupe. No dated Tribune, but this is Lio. I understand if you don't trust me.

OH MY GOD! That dog is way cuter than my two. WOW! Haven't seen that color before. It almost looks like another breed. Is that considered silver? What a beautiful dog. Congratulations.

I've already been through the "Is that a Weimerraner?", "Is that a mixed breed?" And various other questions. I try to explain what it is but people totally think I am making it up. Two weeks in and it is already a tiresome subject.
Silver labs are actually Chocolate labs. In a nutshell...a recessive gene. Lots of controversy re: the color. That's why I have never registered a dog with the AKC. Who gives a poop? It's a pet, not a science project.
