I know there are a lot of dog owners/lovers on this board, so I thought I'd ask . . .
Do you know of any indestructible/very long lasting dog stuffed animal toys? My dog is wild about stuffed animal toys, but not much else. She'll work out the peanut butter/food out of a Kong, but won't chew on it. She turns her nose up at rawhide bones, rope toys, tennis balls and frisbes.
My/her problem is that she tears a hole in the stuffed animal within 24 hours of getting it and then I have stuffing all over my house for the next week while she works it all out. She will then take the empty animal and chew, chew, chew it to shreds. That gets us through another two weeks, but then the toy is gone.
I would love for her to have some toys that will hold up for more than 24 hours before they start to come apart.
Are there any brands of dog toy stuffed animals out there that are close to indestructible?

Learn how to sew! Piece the stuff back together and stitch it up.
Seriously though - there is this ball at Dominicks -it's rainbow colored, says it's for medium dogs -but I gave it to the neighbor dog who is quite large and kept one for my house and both are still going strong. This dog destroys everything within 15 minutes. It's not a hard ball. Otherwise just get cheap stuffed ones at Menards and buy a lot of them. I've tried those nylon ones that have ratings - 9-10 being for the most agressive. It was destroyed by the neighbor dog within a few days. So that was disappointing. They're called Tuffies and they're at Petco/Petsmart etc. and Puparazzi has them too. Maybe it will work for your dog but our dog friend -forget it!

We had a friend with the same problem... they replaced the stuffing with old nylon stockings... indestructible. Depending on the swallowing potential of your dog, you might want to stitch the nylons together to make one large wad.
I'd also suggest artificial turf, but... well, y'know...

Thanks everyone. I've seen those toys at Pupparazzi - they are triple the price of her usual Target special, so I was hoping someone would say that they work really well.
Maybe some sewing lessons are an order . . .

Nylabones end up on the other end of the pooper scooper in the backyard within minutes. I did find some super bone at Petsmart once that is still with us even though it dents the wood floors when he drops it every other minute....very unnerving.

That rainbow ball thingy may just be your ticket. It's like 4.99 or 6.99 something like that. It feels really neat to a dog. Hartz Flexa Foam: Unsure if it squeaks - come to think of it.

Yes - she's a strange dog. Doesn't fetch (or even do the chase part), won't play tug of war . . . normal dog stuff. She just likes to play by herself tossing the stuffies up in the air and chewing on them. Well that and dig holes in the yard and lay in the dirt. She was picked up as a stray in KY before she became ours; sometimes I wonder if she just has no idea how to play.
I'll try that rainbow toy because I've never tried something of that consistency before. It'd be nice to have something hang around for awhile.

Our Golden loves the Pet Stages toys from PetSmart. He is a powerful chewer and he can't destroy these. They are soft and chewy and he carries them around all the time.
