As much as Orbit is an awesome name...nobody told me to my face that it was not...the kids apparently have come up with these three final choices...plus the awesome name as a default choice.

Question:
In absolutely no order of preference, here you go:

Choices:
Aero
Lloyd
Puck
Orbit

Puck?? Bleah. Not that your kids would necessarily know this, but that was a vile 'character' on one of Mtv's Real World seasons. Plus there's the rhyming possibilities that don't look too good...

I like, out of those choices, Lloyd.

I noticed that the first letters in your name choices spell ALPO - Interestingly subliminal.

Suddenly, Orbit is looking better . . . . Wink

I would not use the name Puck, because a command in dog training is Off. This might prove embarrasing.

Obscure Hockey reasoning:

Houston Aeros were an original WHA franchise.
Lloyd Petit was the Blackhawks announcer.
Puck...well we still have our Puckhead hats from the glorious Mike Keenan days.

Orbit. It's chewing gum and that equates with Wrigley and is less than six degrees of separation from the Cubs. Avoid that.

Puck. Off. I like it.

We have a winner!

Didn't think anyone would catch that. So...you name the stupid dog. That's your prize.

If hockey is the theme, I do know a dog named Slapshot.

I really like Puck. It has a certain Je ne said quois!
Plus, saying, "Puck, you soiled the carpet!" Sounds so right. Big Grin

What a fibber! I clearly recall mercilessly mocking your choice of name to your face on Sat a.m. And I have witnesses (2 human and 3 canine).

What little credibility you may ever have enjoyed is no more, sir.

BTW - of your execrable choices - definitely Lloyd.

I was referring to Mrs. Dinsdale. She said she liked it.

Hey Ruydah - perhaps I misread clam's original post, and he was simply referring to us as a couple of nobodies!

Sounds about right. You'd think he'd be a bit more gracious. Afterall it was ME who kept his family warm last night.
