Cyndi charges $10 for the first dog, and $2 for the second, so it's $12/day for us for our 2 dogs - this is the 40-minute deal I mentioned above. She actually just told me (when I asked whether I could post her rates) that her schedule is getting pretty full,** and that she refers people to this Pet Sitters International Website at http://www.petsit.com/; there is a petsitter locator on there. This organization is not a "policing" org, but rather an educational one, but all sitters registered are bonded, insured, and all that. Good luck!
**ETA: but please don't let this deter you from calling her - these things can change at any time; depending on your needs, she can let you know her availability.

Just following up on this post. We just got a puppy and we are looking for someone to let her out around lunch time for the next couple of months. Did anyone try Cindy? Are you happy with her? Any other recommendations? Thanks!
Try US! Lynn's Pet Care is the premier pet sitter in Glen Ellyn. I have lived here for 23 years and my business is mainly residents of Glen Ellyn. We are local, and we are very reliable and honest.
Nice website Lynn. Those are some of the cutest damn dog pictures I've ever seen. If I wasn't able to bring my dog to my office every day, I'd definitely give you a try. It looks like you're running a very professional operation!
I just love taking care of the pets of Glen Ellyn. It's such a rewarding job and they are always happy to see us! I have many more pictures to post to my website, but I just haven't had the time lately. With spring break coming up, all my time has been spent organizing that.
It's a priviledge to take care of so many pets locally. I try to run a professional yet personal business. Thanks for the good words.
I have met Cyndi and she's real nice. We run into each other occasionally while walking dogs. (Imagine that!)

How much does it pay? Just wondering.
