There considerable research regarding the urban coyote: The New York Suburban Coyote Study, San Diego Coyote Study and in our backyard the Cook County, Illinois, Coyote Project which is the largest urban study of coyotes in the world. I enourage people to google the Cook County Project and learn about our urban coyote.
Studies show indiscriminate trapping and killing of coyotes is ineffective in reducing populations. |
