earlier today -3:30 PM -posted elsewhere If anyone is missing a bright yellow and neon green parakeet? parrot? don't know what it is, it's in my yard. Again! This is my 4th exotic? bird in the last 2 years that make it to my yard. Unless for some reason we have wild parakeets or such native to this area? I find it hard to believe we have bright and light blue birds as well as this one surviving around here in Illinois.

Maybe if someone's bird does go missing (or even a dog or cat) I would hope our members here would put the word out here. It may actually help. I remember when my small little dog dissappeared years ago, all I had to do was mention it to ONE neighbor and I swear, after 1/2 hour, I think there were hellicopters looking for her -just kidding, but no joke, people actually got in cars! So, one of the many things I enjoy about Glen Ellyn - the help!

In reposting this - it's dark and the bird has moved to other branches. I'll look tomorrow for it. Funny, it was very quiet, not like all the other pet birds I get. You could not help but see the bright yellow and green color. Stood out at the feeder, fence and tree.

How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year,
Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.
