Anyone had experience with an animal adoption agency in GE,called ARF? My sister in law is interested in some rescue pups they have.

They sure seem to have a lot of animals. I wonder where all these animals are at?

How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year,
Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

Yoss, tell her to adopt the mastiff named Beau. He is gorgeous! I would if I could. Limit three. I'm sort of glad there are limits or I might be like that old crazy cat lady minus "the old" and the cat part, of course.

I think ARF may partner with Wheaton Animal Hospital (name?) on Roosevelt - which is actually a Glen Ellyn entity. I think GEAH partners with a couple of other adoption groups. I have met, on an informal basis, some of the ARF volunteers at the Danada Petsmart, which partners with them on cat adoptions, and the people seemed very nice and dedicated. I believe ARF has also run dog adoption events at the Petsmart.

In any event, please thank the person who is considering adopting. My two cats are adopted from DuPage County Animal Care (picked up as strays) and have been a wonderful part of my life these last few years. And, there are just so many great pets up for adoption now, it's heart-breaking to visit the shelters.
