Gee, who could be running for Hyde's seat a second time and dropping out before reaching the ballot again? Who could have thunk it.

Chicago public radio local news coverage on the current state of the Illinois GOP aired twice at least, today. Anyone else heard it?

They spent a few moments on congressional district 6. Patrick Durante of Addison township GOP, speaking to a gathering of local GOP precinct captains, noted that lately, in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn parades, he noticed more Democratic than Republican volunteers in attendance. "Sad" he called it.

Roskam was recorded at the same gathering, trying to motivate the grass roots with talk of family values issues being the key to reaching us.

I think it is temporary. Something about golf in Florida.....and there might be a wedding in there as well. GE Fan is still of the age where his friends are getting married.........for the FIRST time.
