Was this in Wrigley Ville?

If they live in Glen Ellyn and only paid 600k, then maybe the homeless guy had a right to pee on it? Wink

The liberal would fine the homeowner for planting the bush that was peed on. Then pass an ordinance that all homes within the Pads area are required to rent port-a-pottys for the exclusive use of the Pads patrons providing that they are registered democrats.

Well this town has its share of bleeding heart liberals and from what I've seen on this board a lot of them seem willing to have PADS shutdown and the homeless guy who sits in front of Starbucks locked up.

I am not interested in having PADS shut down, nor do I want the non-homeless Tony locked up...or tied to a tree and beaten like an Indian witch. But I am 100% for having ALL people, whether residents of Glen Ellyn for life or one night a week, follow the rules that are currently on the books with regard to behavior and public decency. Do people that permanently live in GE follow these rules all the time? No. Of course not. But they are dealt with in a manner that all people, including our part-time guests, should be dealt with.

One rule for all. How can that point be argued against?

Laws that I have personally witnessed?

1: Public DEFECATION (that's pooping in public...even though there are facilities within a block walk)

2: Open alcohol on Park District property

3: Loitering

4: Public drunkeness/passed outtedness (not a word, I know)

5: Littering

I am 1000% certain that there are laws/ordinances against each of these acts.

I could go on and on...but why? If these rules are broken by full-time residents of GE, they should be punished...be they 12 or 62. Why should it be any different for those who are visitors? As I have said before, there is no reason to believe that 100% of PADS participants are guilty of these transgressions...maybe not even 10%...but those that are should be dealt with. That is such a hard case to argue against. But if you disagree, let me know where you live...the coffee and cigarettes are kicking in and my bowels could use a little relief. Wink
