Newsweek had a team of reporters gathering behind-the-scenes information on the presidential campaigns with an agreement that none of their reporting would be published until after Election Day. They have called it “Secrets of the 2008 Campaign” and it has some interesting stuff.
There is no secret you tell me how the economy is doing I will tell you who won. Go back look at every presidential election and that will tell you who won. All these pundits, historians, writers, journalists, professors etc like to put out a bunch of hot air to make themselves seem more knowledgable than they are
This is one of my favorite secrets to come out so far...looks like the McCain campaign is wasting no time throwing Sarah Palin under the Straight Talk Express.
Yes.. typical post-Election night stuff will be coming out on both sides.
The Republican campaign machine scrambling for their next jobs will make Sen. McCain look like a bumbling old man with no control over his campain... Palin as a "Wasilla Hillbilly" as they've already called her.
Leakers on the Left will make Obama out to be a vindictive micromanager... I'm sure there will be stories of him smoking Marlboros...
