Impeachment trial to proceed without Ill. governor

This moron is really out of touch with reality, which if were lucky, will be unemployment by the end of this week.

That would have been a bad choice for me. That would have been the final straw. Would have driven me mad.

Could you imagine Oprah as a Senator? Like her show, everything would be about her.

Disappointed in Barbara...she backed down. Maybe Blago promised her something. I think we all got it, if only the senate would allow me to bring witnesses. I say let him. How many would actually testify and not fear perjury charges in the future?

According to channel 7, he was also considering their anchor Cheryl Burton...I really laughed a that one! She's a beautiful woman, but can't even seem to read the telepromptor very well.

I guess this does show how out of touch Blago is . Why would Oprah give up her control of say thirty percent of the country, just to become a mere U.S. Senator.

Heck, high school teachers here in DuPage get just as good of a pension as a guy like Rod. Probably better.

What exactly does this DB plan to accomplish by doing this media road show? Whining away that the impeachment proceedings are not fair...blah, blah, blag. Of course they are not fair. They are not a trial, they are a political event. And he is as good as gone. Does he think appearing on Larry King will garner public sympathy and support? Who the hell watches Larry King? And at this point...public support and $2 will get him a grande coffee in the suburbs.

Oprah, The View, LK....all watched by potential members of the jury pool. He won't be able to get away with these statements in court so he's using this as his woe-is-me tour to muster some sympathy.

We're assuming of course that Blago is capable of rational thought. I'm no longer convinced of that. I think for once, that I have to agree with Mayor Daley. He is cuckoo.

Notice that except for Larry King all his interviews have been with women. Do you think he fancies himself a ladies man? On The View he kept touching Whoopie's leg.
