We need to set high expectations; act with integrity, transparency and a winning attitude; enhance communication, collaborate, listen and build consensus to address the financial and revitalization issues ahead."

You are an asset to this village and I would be glad to help you in any way I can. Mrs. IMJ and junior IMJ are in as well.

Wow. Thank you. Responses like these make me excited for Glen Ellyn's future.

Please know your questions and comments are welcome, no matter how tough. Wink Interest in our local election will probably pick up after November 4th. Can not wait for both!

Mark...you and your family will always have my full support. Know that Parker and I will do whatever we can to round up as many votes for you from the less fashionable side of the CLEA...and quite a few on the wealthy side, also.

In my opinion you're the man with the vision, knowledge and desire to help make this town what it once was and I support you for these reasons. You run unselfishly, only wanting to help the village you admire so much. Good for you and good for Glen Ellyn should you prevail.

Here is a question everyone wants answered. Why is the "F" silent and not the "P"?

What part of "no" don't you understand?

I won't be jumping on the Pfefferman bandwagon until I know Joe the Plumber's position.

Tell me what you need: $$$, postcards, signs delivered, or whatever--I will help. I have already talked to people. Too late, they are already in your camp! This could be such a great thing for GE!!!!

That "news" article is too damned funny!

"So far, he has gained the support of 5 anonymous semi-literate message board posters!" Big Grin

Hey Mark. Welcome to the race - and good luck. I'd imagine I'll support your bid - anything to shake up this moribund town. But I'm sorry - tho your name sounds vaguely familiar, I don't know anything about you. Looking forward to seeing your website up and running. Or I would welcome it if any of your 5 supporters would shed a little more light on why they consider you so awesome.

Gotta say, I'm not all that sure that an endorsement from the Briquette seals the deal for me... Eek

Fortunately, there are many people in the CLEA who closely follow my sage advice.

I think its time for some change in the way this village has been run. One party rule is never good especially for as long as we have had it here. So I'm glad to see that someone is trying to make some changes.

I never thought I would say this...

I agree with Dins.

Mark, I'm looking forward to learning more about you. If you can bring this group together, you must be an okay guy.

Personally, I am humbled and moved by your encouraging remarks above. You have my sincere thanks.

Professionally, this enthusiam benefits Glen Ellyn. The best course of action you may take to show support for our village is:

1.) Vote at the Town Meeting on November 22nd.

2.) Vote for me at the Town Meeting on November 22nd Smile

3.) Spread the word about both.

This election is much more about the future of our community than any one candidate. Your participation is key to Glen Ellyn's success.
