Clam, again, we are supposed to feel sorry for her because she is sleep deprived. I am surprised the tears didn't come out again during her "real" recollection of the events.....

I still recall clearly my buddy shooting me in the thigh with his Crossman 880 BB gun when I was 13. I had a welt on my thigh for a week. BB gun battles as a yoot-Stupid yes, but good times. And I still have both eyes. As I recall most of the military guys wanted to steer clear of Hillary when she visits. Same thing happened when she visited Iraq as a Senator. It's no secret the Clintons are not beloved by the military. I just find it funny that the liberal bastion CBS ratted her out "Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains." (Winston Churchill) |

I remember my brother throwing and successfully burying a dart into my right calf. And that was a one-time event. There were no follow-up darts...just one. Still remember it as if it were yesterday....and that was nearly 40 years ago. No members of the media were present.

So, I guess we'll just have to take you at your word that this is how it really went down, hmmmm?? I actually do remember the trouble I got in when I was about four and hit my sister pretty squarely on the head with a croquet mallet - no wussy rubber pads on the end, back in the day. Boy, those head wounds really bleed!!! |

Dirt clod fights. Bottle rocket fights. BB gun fights. Lawn Jarts.
I have no idea how I didn't end up with "Patch" for a nickname. |

What kind of parents bring their daughter to an area where there are supposedly snipers. Plus the hey lets go up on this observation tower where a blind man can get a good shot at us the whole thing is hilarious. And then Hillarys new found expertise on the capabilities of C17 and C130 Aircraft.

Or if McCain could just read a teleprompter. OR know that Iran is not training AQ. Or if this were only 2000. Look, even Grateful will tell you he will be dragged kicking and screaming to vote for McCain. You really think the Anti voter is going to switch parties?
McCain is not Reagan. November is a long way off, and a lot of the Obama/Hillary race issue (which I believe her handlers like Ed Rendell started) will fizzle when the Swift Boaters get done with the news cycle. Nobody has even started on Clinton or McCain about the religious idiots in their camp. When does the Bernie Epton/Jane Byrne angst session stop? Ronald M. Kas |

This is the text of the letter to Pelosi from the Hillary money (or lack thereof)
The Honorable Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the US House of Representatives Office of the Speaker H-232, US Capitol Washington, DC 20515 Dear Madame Speaker, As Democrats, we have been heartened by the overwhelming response that our fellow Democrats have shown for our party’s candidates during this primary season. Each caucus and each primary has seen a record turnout of voters. But this dynamic primary season is not at an end. Several states and millions of Democratic voters have not yet had a chance to cast their votes. We respect those voters and believe that they, like the voters in the states that have already participated, have a right to be heard. None of us should make declarative statements that diminish the importance of their voices and their votes. We are writing to say we believe your remarks on ABC News This Week on March 16th did just that. During your appearance, you suggested super-delegates have an obligation to support the candidate who leads in the pledged delegate count as of June 3rd , whether that lead be by 500 delegates or 2. This is an untenable position that runs counter to the party’s intent in establishing super-delegates in 1984 as well as your own comments recorded in The Hill ten days earlier: "I believe super-delegates have to use their own judgment and there will be many equities that they have to weigh when they make the decision. Their own belief and who they think will be the best president, who they think can win, how their own region voted, and their own responsibility.’” Super-delegates, like all delegates, have an obligation to make an informed, individual decision about whom to support and who would be the party’s strongest nominee. Both campaigns agree that at the end of the primary contests neither will have enough pledged delegates to secure the nomination. In that situation, super-delegates must look to not one criterion but to the full panoply of factors that will help them assess who will be the party’s strongest nominee in the general election. We have been strong supporters of the DCCC. We therefore urge you to clarify your position on super-delegates and reflect in your comments a more open view to the optional independent actions of each of the delegates at the National Convention in August. We appreciate your activities in support of the Democratic Party and your leadership role in the Party and hope you will be responsive to some of your major enthusiastic supporters. Sincerely, Marc Aronchick Clarence Avant Susie Tompkins Buell Sim Farar Robert L. Johnson Chris Korge Marc and Cathy Lasry Hassan Nemazee Alan and Susan Patricof JB Pritzker Amy Rao Lynn de Rothschild Haim Saban Bernard Schwartz Stanley S. Technically the Clinton people are correct the SDs are supposed to correct for errors that are made by the voters in the primaries. Personally I find it ironic that the party that claims it was disenfranchised over the last two Presidential elections would set up a policy which would essentially allow voters in its primaries to be disenfranchised . This is an example of the law of unintended consequences. No Super Delegates Hillary doesn't stand a chance and maybe would have faced the music. But since she still sees an opening. Shes going to take it.
