Incoming....

Doesn't he want to win? And have some fun in college - around good looking women? Wink

I love HillTOPPERohfive.

"Each and every play, our team will have a decided schematic advantage"

That still makes me laugh.

Okay so I know that Chris is number one in the state, but is it true that he is number one in the nation?

reason #1 not to go to Ohio
go to google image search and search Oiho no thats not a typo type Oiho in and that will show you one of the number one reasons not to go. And in NDs case, they have the most boring campus ever with nothing around it cept maybe a jog over to the sister school St.Marys.

I heard it's a three horse race:

Illinois
Michigan and
Notre Dame.

Why anyone would want to play for Charlie Weis - that cheater is beyond me. I can understand Michigan....or even tOSU.
I still love this article.

I agree. That institution deserves all of the pain that it has received as of late.

I wonder why Willingham, who by all accounts is a tremendous person, was treated so differently than Weis. If I had a dollar for every time I heard a ND fan talk about their "black coach" I would be as rich as Clamato.

Hill, I assume you're referring to the area surrounding campus and not the campus itself. Notre Dame's campus blows Illinois and Michigan away. When it comes to bars, restaurants, stores, etc., you're right, ND is third on that list, IL second.

I would agree with the restaurant, stores, etc in Ann Arbor being better than Illinois - but the bars, I think not. If you're looking for top notch Midwest drinking, Iowa is your destination.....best bars by far.

Every school has to have its own selling points! Wink
The Iowa campus is quite lovely, situated along the banks of the Iowa River. Quite excellent for tubing, etc. in the summer.

I'll take the summer location of U Wisconsin over Iowa. Bars at Iowa still win.

I had a friend fall off of one of the many U Iowa bridges....he lived but it wasn't pretty for awhile.

I had a friend who went to Iowa and did tons of "tubing". Only lasted a semester. Big Grin

OUCH!! I saw a lot of staggering across bridges, but no falls. I hope it wasn't near the dam.

Good times - tubing down the river with the Pikes. That was back when the legal drinking age was 19. Wink

We have gotten off topic. Now on topic, I must add some grim information - at least grim to some of you: Upon meeting the ND coach, Chris Watt's father actually hugged him. That is what I heard.

okay i dont think a college athlete will base his choosing on how good the bars are. Considering its sort of illegal when they first get there and such. Chris's mother went to Illinois but I see him looking more at Northwestern, Stanford, and BC.
