For those of you that have experienced “Up North” you have probably thought to yourself; hmm, can’t do that at home.

For example:

Yesterday at the 4th of July parade; there was a float that was giving away beer. Okay so you might not see that at home. It became an Up North moment when I saw parents sending their kids to get a beer from the float. Our parade didn’t have cheerleaders, but we did have very busty women in small bikinis (note to self, next year remember not to ask if they are strippers)!

THAT's what GE needs!

In Wisconsin, children can drink beer if their parents buy it for them. Even in bars.

Cool...I'm heading up to Boulder Junction tomorrow for just one night, to show my mom's property. Maybe I'll see you at Smokey's...which would be pretty difficult since I have no idea what you look like.

You should have come to Yoss's party, then you would know what I look like. Drive careful, there have been lots of police out the last few days.

I used to stock the beer cooler at the bar when I was about 12. At 13 I was driving the resort truck with the owner sloshed in the pasenger seat as we made rounds for firewood and picked rocks out of the road.

It was a typical Glen Ellyn childhood.

Today my 10 year old and I had the lake to ourselves so he drove the boat at full throttle around two lakes for an hour. Can't do that in Lake Ellyn!
