For Yoss, who thinks Cleveland is on Dante's list of tortures, I have this to say:

I was surprised.

Stayed at Embassy Suites. Made to order breakfast and copious cocktail hour included (not your Cosmo/fufu of the month drinks, but still serviceable). Walked to most places. 3 stadiums within walking distance to the hotel. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next to football stadium. Not real expensive. Taxi to some great clubs like the Winchester. , where we took in a show by Chris Duarte. Free shuttle from the hotel to Great Lakes Brewing Company.

It's not Rush Street or Michigan Avenue, but much better than I expected.

That's OK, my next project will require travel to New Jersey. Glad you had a nice time, in spite of the Bears.

Bad news for CLE, once the UA-CO merger is consumated, I'm guessing CLE is toast as a hub.

As luck would have it, one of my nephews was Director of Operations and Sommelier at Dante's in Cleveland.

See how this all ties together? Cool

RMK — I would have recommended Dante's to you when you went to Cleveland, but after nephew Dave left for New York... they closed.

Went with the 27 year old nephew and 25 year old niece. Lucky I didn't have to stay in a hostel.
