If you still want to try somewhere different in Wisconsin, try Granite Peak (Rib Mountain) in Wausau. They just added and re-configured all the runs, restored the 1930's lodge, etc... We had a GREAT time up there last year and it is only 4 hours away. Pretty steep runs too.
