Hey all, I'm new to the area and was hoping to get some travel advice. I'll be staying with a friend in chicago, but working at the graybar electric down on regency drive. I was wondering if there was any transportation that anybody knew of from teh glen ellyn metra stop up in that general direction. any advice you can offer would be much appreciated. you can either post here or email me directly at chicagot1982@yahoo.com Thanks again
Try this link. You want to look at the "PACE bus schedules", they may also have a number at the PACE link that you can call for help with point to point directions.

Thanks guys. I tried Pace, but since I'm commuting out of the city and not in like most people, they don't have any buses running from the station, just to it.
If the bus doesn't work for you going to work but could work going home you could take a cab to work from the station- I bet it would be a pretty cheap ride...Never mind you can only go north in the afternoon... If you got off the train in Wheaton could you catch a bus from there...with Wheaton College there may be more bus routes.

Yo better of in GE since Chicago is expensive, crazy and contains lots of homeless people. Not to mention GETV plays some great programs.
Just yesterday I asked myself what happened to you. I couldn't ask my wife because she would have no idea who I was talking about....that's why I asked myself.
I'm here. I'm driving for now. can't seem to find any other way that wont cost me a cab ride each way. I'm still looking for a better solution, but so far, no luck.
yeah, I've been thinking about it. I may look a little funny riding down main street in my shirt and tie. It won't be too bad for the next few months, I'm just trying to figure out how to deal with it once it starts snowing again.
