The European Library gives access to the resources of the 45 (!!) national libraries of Europe. You find all sorts of material from all over Europe. Books, but also films, manuscripts, text books, maps, photographs, music, etc..

'Can I get it online?' You can quickly check if a national library somewhere in Europe has digitized your item

The See online button allows direct access to the digitised object. If See online does not show, the document has not been digitised yet. In all cases, they give access to the "library card" of the document.
