Maybe the low kindergarten enrollment was due to a high number of "reshirt kindergarteners" this year.

I just heard that Naperville has all day kindergarten. You can opt out for half day, but most families don't. Most kids are more than ready after all those years of preschool. Why are "we", the US, still so far behind?
