My eldest son just informed me that his LA teacher has once again done a disappearing act. Apparently heading off to teach something else w/in Hadley. He tells me that they are now being taught by the department and perhaps the district head(s). One teacher for the first hour, another for the second. By my count, these may be the 4th and 5th teachers that this class has had. I guess there are two schools of thought. Variety is the spice of life . . . or these kids are getting the short end of the academic stick.
I rarely complain about anything that goes on in that school, but this seems extreme. I understand the young lady from last year left them high and dry over the summer, but why can't D41 attract another capable teacher? Anyone know what is going on with this class?
