Why does D41 waste the paper, time, effort and cost to mail the student's the name of their teacher when they could just email it to the parents?

As hard as it may be to believe, there have been students in my kids' D41 classes who do not have a computer in the home. There are others w/ parents who do not speak English such that a phone tree system fails.

I agree paperless would be great; however, an "opt in/out" system is probably more realistic than a mandate.
