ScourGE, cute, but change the Avatar, it belongs to westie and dew.

MySpace was also mentioned on the latest NBC sexual preditor sting the other day. Something like 50 men showed up at a home in California over a 2-3 day period looking for what they thought was a 13 year old-- boy or girl, depending on their preference. At least this time NBC coordinated with the local authorities and all but one was arrested.
A friend of mine had a 15 year old with a MySpace account. It included very suggestive photos of her and her friends, a fairly explicit list of her sexual preferences/experiences/desires, her full name, the name of her high school, and her home telephone number!!! It included a brag about her "soldier" boyfriend. I had to ask around to see what that even meant. Turns out he's considered to be a "gangster." Nice culture she embraces, huh? I can't believe they block out a word from some 41 year old Rolling Stones tune when kids are listening to all the Rap and Hip Hop crap on their IPODS.
Oh, and now this kid is pregnant. She's just lucky to still be alive after her MySpace stunt. You need to be 14 to get a MySpace account, as I recall. There doesn't seem to be a way for a parent to have the account removed if the child is old enough. It's really sick.
MySpace isn't the only one, it just happens to be the biggest.
