I still use Anapod Explorer and think it is the best software out their to sync your iPod. It is fast, it is easy, and it does not tax your system with worthless services that run. All it does is sync your iPod with music and images and does it very well. Never had any support issues because, well, it just worked every time I used it. I have it running on a 5 year old machine, it works just as fast as throughing it on a brand new box, all it does is copy data, so it is not rocket science.
Unfortunately for those that have purchased iPods in the last year, it is not supported. So no video support. If you use your iPod for just music and have an older iPod, I highly suggest it.
There is a new software like this that does music, video, podcasts and photos without "iTuning" your system (meaning running worthless services and slowing your machine) called Floola.
it works EXCELLENT, but it is freeware, so for those in need of support all the time, you may not get a fast enough response. I would suggest this one over anything else.
