Does anyone know if and when tonight's board meeting will be televised, and on what WOW channel?

(I thought about posting this in the entertainment forum ... )

I believe it is channel 15 on wow..

Channel 6 on WOW (not 15). 7pm. Re-broadcasts later in the week will be on Channel 17.

IMJ - unless you know something I do not (Which is entirely possible), the meeting is special and will be followed by a workshop which isn't televised. I bet this is not televised. I have a call into the village to confirm.

It is a crime that the village would hold these high profile meetings without proper coverage, especially when it is readily available. Most of the previous meetings regarding this volatile issue have been held prior to the cameras rolling. This is another designed attempt to hinder the public's information regarding issues that affect the entire community. Not all residents are able to make the meeting in person, nor should they have to. I will be there in spirit, and hopefully be informed from this BB or other sources that should be handled by the village.

Ted, are you confirming the televised issue, or simply the WOW channel that normally plays meetings?

Ignore most of previous rant - stressful start to the week. Just received a voicemail confirming the televised coverage of tonight's meeting at 7:00 PM on WOW channel 6 and Comcast Channel 10.

Aragh! Now I'm really confused. Tonight's meeting (12/8) is listed as a Special Village Board Meeting, including a Village Board Workshop. Gatherings that rarely, if ever, are cablecast.

But perhaps it is going to be an exception tonight, and it will on the teevee. A first?

For those who can make it — if you see that it isn't being broadcast —

• Take a recorder; I'll transfer the audio to MP3 and put it online as soon as possible

John(?) Norton from GETV called and assured me that the proceedings were televised at the above channels and times tonight.

anyone know when comcast will rebroadcast? i want this on dvr!!

I recorded it and am in the process of transferring it to a Flash video. When finished I'll put it online; shouldn't tale more than an hour or two more. —Ted E.

Comcast has nothing to do with it, but GETV/17 usually rebroadcasts the regular board meetings the following Wednesday and/or Thursday night.
