I just got a new computer last week and at first had this problem, and not it's cropped up again. What should my setting be in order for the find (new since your last visit) feature to kick in an work? I mean at first when I logged in, I had 15 pages of 'unread stuff' then I cleaned up something, made sure the website/webpage was accpted in 'zones', cookies are on and verified, Java is up, looked in personal zone-nothing has changed, etc etc. What could I be missing? After I rebooted I saw that it seemed to work. Now it's back to pages and pages of 'unread' stuff. I'm stumped. ...Hmmm.... anyone?

Can anybody help? I offered some suggestions last week to lupechennel via PM, but they obviously didn't work.

The only things I could suggest ware...

• Cookies have to be on (your computer, not the GEBB, “remembers” the date and time of your last visit),
• The clock on your computer has to be set correctly, and
• You have to be logged in (username & password), not just visiting as an unregistered guest.

That's all I got.

All of these requirements seem to have been met. Anybody else have an idea? Thankee! —Ted E.

I've seen the logged in thing affect this before. Make sure you always login first before doing the find new since my last visit...

The only way I can force this to work is if I continually log off and log on, everytime I visit. At work I have no problem. I'll have to go through with a fine tooth comb to see what settings are different.
