Arianna and her husband lived in Montecito, California, an absolutely awesome northern suburb of LA. My buddy used to live down the street from them. She married well, her husband being a multi millionaire courtesy of his hard working grand parents and parents. He ran I think for Gov of Calif and spent tens of millions of dollars of his hard earned inherited money on his campaign, and lost. Anyways, she was regarded in the communtity as a nut case. Threw some awesome parties though. She divorced her beloved husband and bank rolled her "political career" through her divorce settlement. Like most politicians, she needs to go out and get a job. I will provide further details later, time for dinner.

Spoken like a true Bush-ie! :-) This is the same logic they've used to govern the country for the past 8 yrs, including as a guide for war strategy and foreign relations.
Maybe not entirely accurate Gus, but she does swing!
From Wiki:
She met oil millionaire Michael Huffington, a family friend of the Bush's at a 1985 party hosted by Ann Getty in San Francisco. The couple were married in 1986 at a wedding paid for by Ann Getty, who had declared that she needed to find Arianna a husband. They moved to Washington, D.C., when he was appointed to serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Negotiations Policy. They later established residency in Santa Barbara, California, in order for him to run in 1992 as a Republican for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, which he won by a significant margin. He was a political conservative on most issues. Arianna campaigned for her husband, courting religious conservatives, arguing for smaller government and a reduction in welfare. In 1994 he narrowly lost the race for the U.S. Senate seat from California to incumbent Dianne Feinstein.
The couple divorced in 1997, and in 1998 Michael Huffington disclosed his bisexuality.
