I saw a live demo of the U-Verse video product at AT&T headquarters in San Antonio a few weeks ago and I thought it was brilliant. If they are able to accomplish a few additional items (whole house DVR and multiple HD streams, both of which they assured us will be available by year-end), it will be a dramatic improvement over the product you get from your cable company right now (if you like the bells and whistles). Channel changing was immediate, all of the guides included live video "peeks" in a picture-in-picture type window, and the functionality allowed you to set up a lot of preferences to run the system the way you want to run it. I thought it was beautiful.
