Enjoy the Wii, perhaps you will get into pre-season form in time for cycling this year. I know I broke a sweat doing the boxing match on a friends Wii. However, make sure you get the recalled wrist strap replaced. Wouldn't want this to happen to your big screen...
My bro asked for one for Jesus's b-day, but the stores informed my parents that they've been our for weeks, but still had PS3, or maybe it was xbox 360 lofl.

Actually, it's interesting but one specific phrase taught to police officers now, in order to get armed suspects to put down their weapon, is to yell, "Game over!"
Apparently it works better than almost anything else they can command...tells you something about video games and morphing of "entertainment" and reality.

Funny you mention that. I have a friend who is a Montgomery cop, and he was just talking about that the other night.
When I first heard that (during a presentation), I was in shock, then I decided that I was really happy to have strict control over the video games in our house!

Well to take the other side of this . Playing Video Games has been shown to improve hand-eye coordination. They've done studies on surgeons who played video games and they had much better hand-eye coordination than those who didn't. So next time you're up for surgery you might ask your doctor what Video Games he plays and at what level he's at.
You know it seems that anytime something new comes along something kids have we adults always get ourselves in a knot. I mean substitute video games for say Comic Books, Rock, Rap, whatever. And it's this stuff is bad for you. It'll lead to crime, juvenile delinquency, blindness. Etc, Etc. And then of course we can alway s lay in on whatever minority group happens to be available. My guess is that most of your video games, violent and otherwise are bought mostly by white suburban male teenagers.
With all due respect, ezrider...a brief look above does not show anyone really complaining about or criticizing video game usage. Perhaps to the contrary. Everyone loves video games...the Wii in particular.
I will admit that Wii tennis is much easier to master than paddle tennis. My rating is current about 2150....1150 above pro level. I have not lost to the game in quite some time. My goal now is to never lose a point during a match. I have done it a few times. Will most likely quit very soon and start hanging out at F&F...with Yoss...who owes me a few drinks.
