I am taking digital shots of some of my old still pictures in my photo albums. I want to load them into my computer and set them to music, then put them on a CD for a party I am having. The problem is that many of the digital shots I've taken are coming out blurred even though the pictures I'm shooting are clear. Can anyone help and advise me?
Thanks.

Sounds like you're trying to get in too close. Use the close up setting on your camera. If you're still getting blurred pics, then try to take them at a distance that you get clear pictures and then use your photo manipulation program to zoom in. If that doesn't work take the photos to a camera shop and see if they can put them on a cd for you. I know Walmart can put them on a VHS tape with music, but I'm not sure about a CD w/music.

Go to P.J.'s and ask them. They know everything.

You would get better results with a flatbed scanner.... a small learning curve, but they are dirt cheap these days.

If you have XP on your computer, I beleive Microsoft publishes a free program that you can download from their website that will do exactly what you are talking about in terms of a slideshow and music.

I do have a multi-function unit that has a scanner. Let me try that. I do also have XP.

Tony, thank you very much. That was the ticket. Even photos scanned from books are coming out nice. Thank you and all the others.
