More info about over-the-air digital TV and HDTV stations in Chicago and environs than you ever imagined.
Kinda geegy, but understandable. Stations, frequencies, power etc... and the changes that are still to come with the final switchover. Av Sciences Forum |

geegy, hey fish, add that one to the fishtionary.
This digital thing is way overrated....With my old rabit ears I could watch a Blackhawks game (on a rare occasion when they were televised) without the helter skelter stop and go action that seemingly comes exclusively thanks to the digital revoltion. FUnny how it has not saved me any money yet either..... |

I find the OTA digital video and audio quality to be better than the cable redistribution of same (which is not surprising), and there are more stations and services being broadcast OTA than are rebroadcas on cable.
But I am going to replace my 30-year-old VHF/UHF attic antenna... I'm not receiving everything that I know is out there. (They're clannels I'll probably never watch, but it's the principle of the thing.) |
