I've been using Verizon for my cell phone service for years, but I've never been too happy with it when using it in my house (near downtown Glen Ellyn). The clarity of the calls is better than years ago, but still isn't very good. When I use the phone away from the house it's fine. So what's the problem - doesn't Verizon have any cell phone towers or antennas nearby? What service has good coverage in Glen Ellyn (near downtown)? Thanks.

I have ATT wireless and our cell phone coverage is horrible in our house too and somewhat better around Glen Ellyn.

Rich, I have Verizon and have not noticed a problem anywhere in the GE vicinity....there are other places that I have problems, but I think those are mostly because I have an old phone....

We have Verizon and it didn't work well in the house. We complained and Verizon said they had a number of complaints and would look into it. Our service improved shortly after that.

I'd complain.
