I'm new the area, what is clean sweep?

I think what is being referred to is the grandaddy of all garbage days- It is sometime in April-if you drive around the village you can find lots and lots and lots of treasures that people are getting rid of. Looks like one giant rummage sale only it's all free...If your not too proud to garbage pick.
