Once Lake Ellyn fills its banks again, I would like to organize a model sailboat club. Anyone interested? I've enclosed a picture of my boat sailing the waters of Lake Ellyn in years past. It is a T26 (26 inches long, hollow western red cedar hull) that was made from a kit.

Never ceases to amaze me how much information is out there. I tried not to be too obvious, but subtlety is not my stong suit. BTW, any relatives in Indian Head Park that used to own a golf course?

The minute I saw the subject matter I was drawn to it like a shark to chum. I have a ton of old pond yachts (wife is thrilled about that, I can assure you)...that one happens to be new. I know the guy that owns that company and he built it for me. The boys like to walk over to Lake E. and sail those things.
No golf course owning relatives. No relative that is the States Attorney (though that angle can get you into restaurants in this county).
Oh well, sorry about your outing. If it makes you feel better, I've been outed amoungst a group of my buddies who read this. They will pick up on the stupid crap I write and email me - taunting me.
Jerks!

Clam, I feel like I know you, but we have never met. I too have people who either post or lurk on this board that know me. It tends (though not always) to make me think a little harder before I hit the "Post Now" button.

Sooooooooo....how does one not know another, not know who he or she is, yet can find their name on the Internet?
I have a feeling I know the answer...but I shall curiously await what you have to say.
And I never think at all before hitting the "post now" button. Never have posted anything that would get me shot...and I'm capable of defending myself. Hell, I used to use my own name instead of Clamato. I believe that is how you, the FBI and GE coppers found me so quickly.

Actually, I was walking past your house, and, through your window, saw a rather odd looking chicken on the wall. Your dog (remember, the smartest thing in your home) told me who you were. He also added that the chicken cost almost as much as your roof! But, joking aside, you are right on the money.

Maybe Fish is your stalker? Stalkers know things....Next time you're relaxing with the curtains open, remember...Fish could be watching you from the shadows....

GEFan...Do you ski behind Clamato's boats or do you have the super duper remote controlled kind.
Let's face it, if we all went down to Lake Ellyn on Saturday and decided to race our boats, how many of us would you recognize???
If I were to take a walk up the street running perpendicular to the Glenbard West parking lot (that Clam has mentioned so many times), how easy would it be to spot the shirtless man in the open window, walking around his home with a martini, while the lab chased the two young boys?
