I have a black bedliner and cap for a Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab pickup. Call 890-2336 if interested.

Amy, you have shattered my image of you. Nothing hotter than a woman in a pick up.

Where in the hell did you get that? To the best of recollection, I have never seen a Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab pickup around town. What became of the truck itself?

Are we to believe that this savant keeps a running mental inventory of all the vehicles he sees? Not just German engineering?
Impressive, Nathan.

It was a leased vehicle. The lease ended about two years ago and we had added the bedliner and cap ourselves (makes it look a lot more like an SUV). But my husband didn't want to give the cap and bedliner back to the leasing company so he kept them, telling me he would sell them. Instead, they are collecting dust so I am taking matters into my own hands! Roll Eyes Ahhhh...and now I understand Fish's reference in my other posting.

Well, you can all keep a tally of my new car - convertible mini-cooper! Big Grin I LOVE it! And it gets much better gas mileage than that pick-up or our SUV.

Well I can almost be certain that the Transmission probably went out on the truck and the air conditioning probably doesn't work either. The only thing worth salvaging on a Dodge is the bedliner and Cap, both aftermarket.

Can you tell I have been burned on a Dodge, I knew you could!!!!!

Well, I guess I'm glad I got rid of it. However, our SUV is a Dodge and sure enough the fan is messed up on the A/C. So far, the transmission is fine (knock on wood) though we replaced the battery this weekend and the automatic lock on the front, passenger door got messed up during the winter over a year ago so it's a royal pain! I want to buy American but they just (generally) don't do the job as well as most foreign companies.

Metallic Black with - of course - black roof. I am totally in love with my car!

Amy, do yourself a favor, buy a foreign car made in America. You will not miss all of the problems you see with the Dodge's of the world. It will just continue, problem after problem. Plus, Dodge is not really American anymore, Daimler(Mercedes Benz) owns them now. Hopefully they can change the perception of the American Vehicle and also upgrade the quality of the product and design.

That's funny, Amy. Next time you drop a book off at my house, you can check out Parker's new Mini Cooper S. Black w/ black top. After 15 years of having essentially one car capable of transporting the kiddies, I bit the bullet and bought her what she wanted. Very nice car . . . will rot nicely in the driveway from non-use in the coming years.

I drive mine all the time. The two kids fit in the back especially since I don't really need to put my seat back very far (yes, I'm a tad short). Our other car is still more kid-friendly though the hubby is chomping to trade it in for something a little smaller for his commute (save gas $). I do mostly in-town driving so it's the perfect car for me...parking is SO easy and I can always fit even when people park too close to the white lines.

Maybe for August 17th we should tack on "Cool Car" night. Ladies you bring your Mini's, I'll have my wife bring her TT. IMJ and I can bring our Acura TL's. Then we can all head down to the juice place or Firkin's.

Clam-we need someone to keep the kids away from our cars, I think you're our man.

I'm in.

My Mini met Clam's (I mean Clam's wife's) Mini tonight...I think they're in love! We joked about a bunch of mini mini's running around. Now, wouldn't THAT be cute!?!

Wait a minute!
Couldn't you use that old pick-up cap as a carport for your new mini?

Saw him the other day running pretty fast around the back of GW. Seems to be back in form. Kid won't learn anything until he splats a 6 year-old on a bike. And if it happens to be my kid, it will be the last thing he does. I'll do the time in order to sleep at night. Unfortunately, that's just the way I'm wired. Kill my kid out of stupidity and wrecklessness . . . and I'll kill you.
