Tokyo?
I am a dyslexic agnostic insomniac. I lay awake at night wondering if there is a dog.
Fan, as cultured as you are, how can you say Nagasaki... Clam, the only line your son needs to know is from Full Metal Jacket and it is a line that translates across languages.....
Hey, you got girlfriend Vietnam? Me so ho*$y. Me love you long time.
So....I called Berlitz in OB...no classes for kids (shocker). They do 7.5 week private seesions, meet twice per week for 1.5 hours. Cost? $1,800.00 PLUS $100.00 registration fee (WTF is that?) and $99.00 material cost. I believe that adds up to $1,999.00, but I am not certain as I cannot find my calculator.
My question to her was where would that put him after 22.5 hours of instruction and she rattled of that he'd essentially be able to say his name, rank and inquire as to where the bathroom is. Then he'd have to take another class to order food, etc.
Seems high, and not in the budget as I'd rather drink that money away in Glen Ellyn restaurants.
Clam, I think Chinese is the way to go......If the little neck clam plans on getting into business, his skills in mandarin will come in handy the way they are buying everything up. But if he can't hack school, he can always work at Dragon One in Baker Hill!!!!
Tell me what is so bad about Dragon One's Egg Rolls and Chix Fried Rice....tell me Fish.....tell me. Fish, I don't even know you anymore. I'm now glad that I missed that putt....that's right, I just said that.
On another note, Clam , I ran into MR today. He said that your 4th of July party was on the 4th. WTF? I thought you were throwing a party on the boat regatta day. For what it is worth, I prefer the boat regatta day.
The site of Dragon One grosses me out, but the food is decent. When I don't feel like driving down Roosevelt into Lombard to Golden Wok, Dragon One will do just fine.....
