And I'm not so sure that this request was in the right field.

COD offers classes in french, german and spanish for kids. They even have a summer immersion camp for those langauges. Japanese is geared towards adults.

I wonder if it's possible to find high schools that offer Japanese and see if their teacher is willing to give private lessons.

Would it not be easier and more accurate to actually check the COD youth education program web site?

I would recommend COD. Students I have worked with took Japanese there and learned a lot!

Hindi and Chinese would be good if not better that way your kid could actually get a good education. Though that may mean immigrating to India,China or Japan.

Chinese Schools better than US

Chinese immersion class at COD was cancelled due to lack of interest. Only two kids signed up.
