Chicco Travel System with an additional car base, sells for $350. It has been used for three months. Now my children have decided that I was right in the first place. They like my peg perego. I offered to trade mine with theirs but my color does not match their car interior. $250 OBO

I cross my fingers every day (well, every once in a while) that I will not need this stuff again. I hope you find the right buyer with the right interior car color. Roll Eyes

When my car was totaled last year and I was shopping for a new one, I caught myself looking only at cars with beige interiors because that's what would match the new carseats that my kids chose (public service announcement: if you are in a car accident you should get new carseats even if the kids weren't in the car), and then I snapped back into reality and was like "what am I thinking -- they're car seats!" My current car has a gray interior and the car fashion police haven't stopped me yet.

That's true - in fact, I drive the most unfashionable, most unnoticeable car ever made: an Accord.

Exactly how is the Honda Accord unfashionable and unnoticeable?

When you put it on a pile of rocks it's a bit more noticeable than when you park it in the lot at Dominick's and you actually have to read your license plate (or, in my case, look for the horribly clashing brown based carseats in the car with gray interior) to figure out which of the 8 Accords in the aisle is yours.

If they sold a wagon...and they do in Europe and elsewhere...I would own one.

BTW, the Accord that we know and love is only sold in North America. The Accord everywhere else is this:

...the Acura TSX

And now you know...........the rest of the story.

Viva North America - I'd hate to have to pay Acura prices because of a lack of similar Honda product.

Someday I aspire to own an Acura, but I still have many years of car interiors filled cracker crumbs and muddy footprint filled seatbacks ahead of me. And for the same reasons that I won't replace the carpet in my house for another several years is the same reason I won't buy an Acura.

But, someday . . .

I really wanted a smart car, but I was afraid of getting run over in traffic. I wish I saw this last month, it's so much cooler than my Passat.

Regarding baby strollers and cars: I remember when we were replacing our VW Jetta many (many) years ago. We sat at Grossinger's and were told how much they'd give us in trade in $$. Before we walked out and drove to Perrilo's, my husband said to them, "You're telling me that the baby stroller we just bought is worth more than this car?!" Yes, they were. Smile

I have a basement full of baby stuff that we (probably) don't need. (Not the $1,000.00 variety though).

If some soon to be Dad (or anyone else) need some stuff......come on downnnnn.
